Forecast

As I was praying recently I got the image of two clouds. Both were heavy with rain, but one had lightning, and the other did not. As God began unfolding this image, I felt that some were needing to hear this: Many have been seeing DARK clouds on their spiritual horizon. They have been getting forecasts of storms from those around them telling them to quit, be fearful, or cancel the plans the Lord has put on their hearts. God says, "Listen to MY forecast. If I am for you, who can be against you? Where I tell you to go, who can stop you?" Where the negative chatter and fear is forecasting lightning storms (take shelter! Get inside! Leave!), God is forecasting light, nourishing, soaker rains. The dark clouds are actually nourishment and saturation coming your way! Not a storm! It is especially important to discern what God is saying. If He is saying go, go. If He is saying do, do. If He is saying wait, wait. If He is saying turn around, turn around. But do not give in to the forecast of the world which often is opposite of the Lord's. “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
