Singled Out

God put this on my heart for someone...maybe you or someone you know? I got an image of someone crushed by heartbreak and betrayal. They had wave after waves of memories, missing that person. It seemed they were always on the edge of tears. They felt alone and wondered if it would always be this way. Hear this word God gave me for you: “‘Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign Lord.” Ezekiel 39:9-10 God has not only noticed all the weapons that have wounded and hurt you in the past, but He has been storing them as your plunder! He is using what was meant as WEAPON against you as FUEL for you! You may feel like this season of singleness or loneliness is going to crush you, but He is planting things in this time that will sustain you for the next seven years! This season is important. God says you are being “singled out”... Single as a verb is defined as “choose someone or something from a group for special treatment”. God says, “I have chosen you for special treatment. Do not despise now, for you haven’t seen the seven-fold reaping that’s coming!”
