The past few days I keep hearing "cardinal directions". This is a time of cardinal directions. This started after a FLOCK of cardinals chose the tree in my front yard as their morning. In looking up the word cardinal, Oxford defines it as "of the greatest importance, or FUNDAMENTAL". The Latin origin, it says, stems from a root word that means "hinge". Right now God is releasing cardinal directions. These are not complicated directions, but are SIMPLE PROMPTINGS from His Spirit. During this time it is important to remember to go back to the BASICS. I feel God saying "remember your calling. Remember why you started. Remember the basics of who you are. This revelation won't be complex, but it will be PROFOUND. Everything deeper hinges on these things. Just as a hinge can pivot, your understanding and mindset about these things can change the direction of your approach."
