As I write this it’s in the 60s outside and sunny. But forecasted is a winter storm supposed to bring freezing precipitation. Today. Around the midnight hour. I’ve been speaking with many who have gotten words from God about the future. Words they have tested and KNOW are from Him. Yet by the looks of the spiritual environment, they are never going to happen. Wait until the midnight hour. This is only the calm before the storm to tempt you into disbelief. The wait may have looked like it passed, but it hasn’t. Right before the calming of the storm- NOTHING LOOKED DIFFERENT. Right before the flood- NOTHING LOOKED DIFFERENT. IT HAD NEVER EVEN RAINED. Right before the miracle of feeding 5,000, it looked like they would go hungry. Don’t always believe the forecast you see. Believe the forecast GOD sees. “But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”” Matthew 14:27-31 NIV
