Shake Off the Dust

Those who have are feeling feelings of MOURNING of DEFEAT, it is time to shake off the dust!! This dust may be the dust of mourning (Job 2:12), the dust of rejection from someone or some place that did not receive you (Matthew 10:14), the dust of a spirit of poverty (1 Samuel 2:8), or even people who have been dragging you down (Genesis 3:19). The winds of the Spirit are going to blow away these days of dust so that new light and clarity can come. For now, HOLD YOUR GROUND and WAIT FOR THE LORD TO DO IT. Shake off the dust, remove your graveclothes, and prepare for the coming joy! Focus on the promises and SHAKE OFF THE EXCESS. Now is a crucial time of tethering the mind to God's words so that the flesh can be calmed. Both the head and heart need to be dusted off so that in this waiting for the Lord to do it, lies do not take hold. "and provide for those who grieve in Zion-- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor." Isaiah 61:3
