Healing of the Nations

“Down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must SOON take place.”” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22:2, 6‬ ‭NIV‬‬ A theme keeps resurfacing in my own time with God as well as in the words of many other prophetic voices. God's heart now is for the healing of the Nations. Both meeting their needs and healing hardened or lost hearts! What we are about to see over the three years will be the start of something incredible. “Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭35:5-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Things can look so bleak on the world stage. What your eyes see and ears hear would lead you to believe "how could God possibly make a change?". But our God is God of the impossible. And He has left us reminders in His word of what He done before and will do again on an even greater scale! There are nations and people that seem so far gone- that everything has been tried to save- that seem like their hearts could never turn. But lately God has been speaking more and more of how in the next three years we will begin to see a miraculous change on both individual and global scales! The enemy often tempts us into unbelief...whispering "how could this even happen? It's not logical or probable". The king of Assyria did the same thing in Isaiah 36 in hopes that the people would strike a truce with him instead of becoming a threat. “Do not let Hezekiah mislead you when he says, ‘The LORD will deliver us.’ Have the gods of any nations ever delivered their lands from the hand of the king of Assyria?” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭36:18)‬ ‭I hear the familiar tone of the enemy in my own life- "has that ever worked in the past? Do you really think you can make a difference now?" Do not listen. Your prayers for the nations and your ministry to hearts around you is a threat to the enemy! And it takes such impossible stakes to set the stage for the miraculous. The things only God could do. “It is true, LORD, that the Assyrian kings have laid waste all these peoples and their lands. Now, LORD our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, LORD, are the only God.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭37:18, 20‬ ‭
