Yesterday as I was driving I heard the Holy Spirit whisper "the August of Awareness". Specifically bringing to light His adoration for us. But as I began to think about His adoration, God opened my eyes to see that word as it truly is...Adore is A DOOR. This month by simply being still and listen in in quiet adoration, it will begin to increase awareness of the path the Lord is calling you down. Throughout the rest of the day I began to see 2222 in dozens of places. Isaiah 22:22 promises "I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open." Many are seeking guidance or direction in life choices right now, but the Lord is saying that when we sit in stillness, pursuing His love, He will unlock and open our next door! This is the time for unlocking new doors and walking through new doorways. Our model right now is psalm 26:1-3 which reads "I have trusted in the Lord and have not faltered. Test me, Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness." It is NOT our striving or achievements that will unlock this next season but our quiet trust and obedient, flexible faith! This month tune your ears to His heart, and watch for keys to be given to those locked doors in your path!
