Nothing Holding You Back

“Then the king asked, 'What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? Even up to half of the kingdom, it will be given to you'?” (Esther 5:3). The Greek word athropos means “a man, human, mankind”. I believe this is an athropos verse, meaning God is directing this not only at individuals but at mankind altogether. But instead of being a human king in love who offers up to half of the kingdom, our Heavenly king's love offers us anything. He holds nothing back. Not His life, not His son, not any good thing; “No good thing will He withhold from those whose walk is upright” (Psalm 84:11). Watching a recent show about monarchy in the 16th century, I learned that no servants were to ever sit in the presence of the king. Hearing the word upright, I get a picture of a servant, always standing, ready to serve not only the king but whomever the king instructs he or she to serve. This humble posture of the heart is the key to wielding limitless potential. WHEN WE LET GOD BE THE KING OF OUR DREAMS, NOTHING WILL BE UNATTAINABLE. I saw a vision of someone hoping for a big dream; to open a restaurant. This person tentatively approached God as if it was a barter, saying “God please do this for me, and in return I will do these things for you”. God's loving reply was “If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine and all it contains (psalm 50:12). Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High; call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor me (Psalm 50:15). Beloved, you do not need to barter with me, for there is nothing I need from you, yet My LOVE for you is so great, that I deeply desire you to know Me, trust Me, and come to love Me. THAT is what you can give Me. All that belongs to Me I also give to you. Your humble heart wins my favor. I desire to work WITH you rather than you working FOR Me as a chore or Me working FOR you as a genie would. Ask Me to highlight in your heart My dreams for you, and you will see that some of the desires that are already there...that have always been there...were planted by Me as dreams we can chase together. I know the way. I have freed you from every chain, so do not limit our dreams with your doubts or fears. Submit your plans, instead, to Me, and I will take you past where you used to think your limits were.”
